MTV VMA's

A little behind the scenes.

So as you all know, I gave up my VMA ticket and decided not to attend! Must I add it was a floor ticket? lol They only gave me 1 and didn't want to go by myself or with these people that I don't really know plus there were a few other things I needed to do on the same day! So, i gave my ticket away! Stupid decision? Hmm ... possibly lol but it all worked out just great because I had a great day and someone else who would've given anything to go, got to go!

Anyway, the purpose of this post is that I was there earlier in the day running errands and got to snap a few pictures during set-up and thought I'd share them with you!

Rocky ALWAYS howls when it's feeding time! Whether it's because I take his plate away or because he ran out of food, for some reason he always howls at me during feeding time and I've always wanted to record him doing so but never do, so today I finally had the camera on at the right moment and caught it just in time!

Rocky Adventure, Part II.

After our Runyon adventure, we headed over to JetRag (a vintage thrifty shop) for the Sunday $1 sale! Of course, Rocky came along and we had a blast sorting through the clothes! If you haven't been there, definitely check it out! Every Sunday they hold the $1 sale and you can find really good pieces if you really dig in and sort through the piles! Rocky Adventure, Part I.

Rocky and Runyon, finally meet!

Alright, so as you read before, a couple of days ago Rocky visited Griffith Park for the first time, made new friends and attempted to attack the horses lol. Well, today we had quite some adventures as well! Today, Rocky visited Runyon Canyon for the very first time!

We were up bright and early (8am is early to me) and headed over to Runyon! It was very misty and foggy but cleared up soon after we arrived! Rocky totally fell in love with the place and not to mention every dog! He's incredibly friendly and therefor decided to stop and mingle with every person and dog that was visible!

As far as his athleticism, he only made it from the parking lot (Mulholland) to the benches! Lol. so in other words, he did not make it very far what so ever!

For his first Runyon trip, he did just fine! Once we hit the benches, we sat and went crazy with pictures! Now, I won't post ALL the pictures, but I did post some of my favorites! What can I say? He's incredibly photogenic! Enjoy!

THE amazing DINNER!

The new food blog will be up this week and will feature the incredible dinner we had at The Wine Bistro! But, because of that same reason ... I won't put up pictures from the food or anything for that matter! But I will share this picture of myself and my honey before having dinner!

Rocky Mayham!

Rocky goes BIG!

I took Rocky to Griffith Park for the first time yesterday and he had a blast!!! I was too busy running around after him and what not but I did manage to take a couple of pictures on his journey! lol He had so much fun that the park staff asked us to leave the area because Rocky kept chasing and barking at the horses! What can i say? my puppy wanted to play with them! lol Anyway, below are the pictures i got right before we were asked to leave! Meh...he was tired anyway, so screw you, griffith park!

Oh and as a side note, I took him to Magnolia park for the first time today (don't know why I didn't take my camera) but he had a blast! He made tons of new puppy friends and attempted to make squirrel friends but didn't succeed! After his mile run (a first) he proceeded towards strangers who had blankets layed out on the grass and decided to just lay right on their blanket! He's lucky he's so cute that no one minds it!

Rocky interesting facts:

1. He pooped in grass for the 1st time! ( He normally never goes the deux anywhere aside from our yard)

2. We learned he loves to chase squirrels! (what dog doesn't?)

3.He loves chewing on pinecones!

4. He got his last set of shots (rabies shots) today!

He is dunzo!

The Stand Up 2 Cancer telethon is tomorrow and is expected to be a huge success! Many of your favorite celebrities (over 70) will be participating at this year's telethon in hopes to raise money for this amazing charity helping cancer patients!

If everyone reading this blog, donates $1 ... imagine what that can do? Many people i talk to always give me the same answer, "I can't donate a lot of money so what difference does it make?" that's where you're WRONG! If we all came together and committed to just $1 we can make a HUGE difference! I'm committed, are you?

Think about it, if you had a family member that had cancer (maybe you do) wouldn't you want someone to help find a cure, or a more advanced treatment? I would. Many people have amazing stories that inspire me to want to help! Want more reasons?

Aaahhh, i've been very bad about updating this blog lately and I know I keep saying it BUT i am attempting to get better at it! lol I wanted to give you guys an update about the food blog, it was suppose to be up a week or so ago, obviously I didn't get it done...but it will be up for sure by the beginning of next week! Again, if there's any suggestions of food places you have, let me know!
