New blog coming next week!

FOOD = BEST INVENTION EVER!

Every single person that is reading my blog right now, has made it a success! I get tons of hits every day (even when i haven't posted anything in a week) and i really appreciate it! Due to its success and many requests I am starting a new blog... a food blog! I am always posting comments and status's on food on my facebook and twiiter and a friend suggested I make a food blog, then another person suggested it, then a few others did, etc. so i decided I'm finally going to do it! I eat out all the time and love food, so why not?

I will officially announce the site on tuesday with the first few posts up! It will start off as reviews and pictures of the food, etc then we will gradually be moving on to interviews with the chefs, owners, staff and customers! As well as behind the scenes footage (me in their kitchen) , tastings and such! If that wasn't enough, we are also going to be giving away gift cards to some of the places we visit! I mean, who doesn't like free food right? Should be tons of fun and can't wait to share it with you guys! If there's any food places you want to see me cover, let me know!

EMMY WEEKEND!

Emmy's are just around the corner!

Anyone else excited for Emmys? I AM! For the first time in years i FINALLY get to watch all the footage from the comfort of my own home! I am always working on the carpet for TV Guide and this year I'm actually getting a break from it all! Not that it's not fun BUT it's soo much work (since we air live) so much preparation and I am not going to lie, it feels good to not have to be in downtown L.A. this weekend!

I'm excited to see all the fashion and to see who wins! I am really rooting for the cast of "Modern family" and I'm pretty sure they will be walking away with some awards come Sunday night! Anyway, i wanted to post up a couple of my favorite pictures of the past few years during Emmy rehearsal week in honor of Emmy weekend! Enjoy!

Make sure you guys support the TV Guide Network and watch all of their red-carpet coverage!!

Avatar, Avatar and Titanic!

James Cameron news!

It's been forever since I've updated (sorry) tons of stuff i got to post but i'll start with big James Cameron news! As many of you know, Cameron will be re-releasing Avatar in theatres starting today! Not only in 3D but also in IMAX (3D IMAX). Why? He wanted to release never before seen footage that was cut out in the editing room, making it a total of 9 minutes of extra footage we didn't get to originally see at the movies or on the dvd. Cameron is also currently writing the Avatar book of which he states will leave off exactly how the movie ended. As if that wasn't enough of the Avatar news...(holds breath) there's more!!! Cameron said that he hopes to have the 2nd Avatar movie in production no more than 3 years from now, aiming at a 2013-2014 release date....whew! I need to catch my breath! lol

Ok, so that's enough of Avatar, on to some more James Cameron magic...2012 marks the 100th anniversary of the tragic sinking of the Titanic, in its honor... the movie, Titanic will also be re-released in move theatres across the world...but this time, it will be in 3D! Is that crazy or what? I can't imagine what it would look like in 3D but if there's someone that can pull it off, it's James Cameron!

Will you guys watch it?

Movies...I love movies!!

I know, I know...I have completely abandoned my blog and twitter for a while! I've gotten messages and comments asking about what happened to writing in the blog! lol sorry! But I promise to get better at it!

Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of trailers with you on 2 movies that I really want to see! I am a girl after all and I am a sucker for chick-flicks! So beware! The following i guess would be considered "chick-flicks".

Love and Other Drugs.

How Do You Know.

What do you guys think? I can't tell which one I'm going to like more!! I love Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal but i also love Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd! Even though the movies open a month apart (Nov and Dec) the battle of the romantic comedies has begun!

Baby Rocky!

I've been promising so many people I would take new pictures of Rocky but haven't done it (sorry!) lol but i finally took a bunch of pictures and then I thought, well...maybe I should take video instead!

Enjoy!

Lottery Ticket.

Lottery Ticket.

I'm actually really looking forward to seeing this movie! Lottery Ticket starring Bow Wow, Brandon T. Jackson, Naturi Naughton, Loretta Devine, Ice Cube and Keith David, is a comedy about a young man played by Bow Wow (Kevin) who wins $370 million dollars through a lottery ticket! Sounds like the best thing ever right? WRONG! Unfortunately, the lottery claim office is closed due to the long 4th of July weekend and somehow Kevin must find a way to survive for 3 days before claiming his prize, given the fact that half the world knows he holds the winning lottery ticket!

He faces all kinds of problems and abnormal circumstances throughout the movie! Suddenly, his relationships have changed, from girls to his best friend. I really hope it's funny and good, T-Pain also makes an appearance on the film!

Lottery Ticket, is hitting movie theatres on August 20th, I get to see the movie on Wednesday so I will definitely let you know my thoughts on it! But, in the meantime...here's a trailer!

Victory!!

Victory for California!

What an exciting day for the world today! yes, not just the gay community, but the world!!! Today, a judge overturned Prop 8, Walker ruled that Proposition 8 is "unconstitutional under both the due process and equal protection clauses." Amen to that!

This issue is something I've always been very passionate about and I'm very happy Prop 8 got overturned! My 1st year of college (speech class) we were asked to pick a topic...the point was to persuade the audience in our favor! I picked same-sex marriage and I will always remember the day i did my speech because it was so meaningful to me. After class was over, a couple of people said to me that my speech made them change their outlook on the opinions they originally had on same-sex marriage and just knowing that my words impacted others made me really proud! It' s not about whether or not you agree with same-sex marriage people!...it's about equality!!!

A few months ago, I was lucky enough to participate in the NOH8 campaign and it's something that I'm very proud of! In honor of this day, I have posted my NOH8 picture and ask that every single one of you reading this right now, ask yourself, "Do I want equality in this world?"... I think that's something we all want!

Here's the full conclusion by Judge Walker:

"Proposition 8 fails to advance any rational basis in singling out gay men and lesbians for denial of a marriage license. Indeed, the evidence shows Proposition 8 does nothing more than enshrine in the California Constitution the notion that opposite sex couples are superior to same-sex couples. Because California has no interest in discriminating against gay men and lesbians, and because Proposition 8 prevents California from fulfilling its constitutional obligation to provide marriages on an equal basis, the court concludes that Proposition 8 is unconstitutional."

Movie Sequels I can't wait to see!!!!

Step Up 3D
Release date: August 6, 2010

I am a HUGE Step Up fan so of course, I'm incredibly excited for Step Up 3D to come out in theatres this coming weekend! I'm a bit bummed out that none of the original characters are in this one (ok, maybe one...but that doesn't count!) non-the-less I can't wait! The 3rd movie focuses on a group of street dancers from NY who find themselves against the world's best hip-hop dancers (no new story plot there) BUT I'm sure it will be an amazing movie filled with amazing choreography and music!

The Last Exorcism
Release date: August 27, 2010

Focusing on the original story, this sequel will focus on exorcism (obviously). A minister agrees to let a camera crew film his last exorcism and that's when it all goes wrong! Love the scary movies!!!

Resident Evil: Afterlife
Release date: September 10, 2010

Who's a Resident Evil fan?? I AM!!! Mila Jovovich and Ali Larter are at it again in this franchise sequel! Both ladies were actually in San Diego last month discussing stunts, effects and 3D while promoting their movie at comic-con! The sequel picks up right where 'Extinction' left off as, 'Alice' continues her search for survivors while facing what's probably the most dangerous trap from the Umbrella corporation.

Jackass 3D
Release date: October 15, 2010

Teaser: no "official trailer" yet! Even though youtube has a bunch of fakes!!! lol somewhere there is a 7 minute video from the movie that the guys presented at comic-con but i wasn't able to find the real video! Feel free to look it up though!

I don't think I need to explain what this movie is about lol everyone just enjoys laughing while watching them in pain! Oh, and this time around it's in 3D! Need i say more? I think not.

Paranormal Activity 2
Release date: October 21, 2010

Now, this movie I can't wait for!! I love scary movies!!! It's my favorite genre and i loved the first one (meaning it scared the s*** out of me!!!). All we really know about the movie, is what you see (saw) in the trailer above! A baby, a dog, a crib and a shadow which is being speculated that this shadow is "Katie" from the first Paranormal Activity, meaning it's her ghost/spirit that's haunting this new family! The first time i watched this trailer, I made the HUGE mistake of watching it right before going to bed! Good luck if you're about to go to bed and you JUST watched the trailer and sorry in advance!

SAW VII
Release date: October 29, 2010

Another scary movie for scary movie go-ers! This is suppose to be the "last" of the franchise BUT I've had so many producers tell me that to my face, then...4 months later another movie is being made! SO, needless to say, I don't believe them! If true however, they claim this movie will fill in all the blanks from the previous 6 films and the deaths will be more gruesome than ever! Not to mention, like many other films, SAW VII will go out with a 3D punch!

Little Fockers
Release date: December 22, 2010

I loved, Meet the Parents AND Meet the Fockers so I think it's safe to say, i will love Little Fockers!!!! We all pretty much know what the plot of the movie is, the only difference is that twins will be in this sequel! That's right, Pam and Greg don't only have 1 child, but they have 2 (twins!). Oh yeah, if that isn't reason enough to watch, Jessica Alba and Laura Dern join the cast this time around.

Scream 4
Release date: April 15, 2011

A teaser or trailer have not been released for Scream 4 yet, but I thought the fan-made teaser above was pretty awesome! Anyway, I have to say that Scream 4 is the sequel I am MOST looking forward to! I have always been a fan of the franchise and for years I have been hoping they would make another one and finally they decided to go for it! The 4th installment takes place 10 years later and re-visits the original plot of the previous 3 films with return of all the main characters and the added characters of Hayden Panetierre and Emma Roberts.

Other sequels I'm very excited about and will let you know more details as soon as i find out!

X-Men: First Class

Alice Eve, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence and Kevin Bacon along with many others come together for X-Men: First Class.

We all know Megan Fox will NOT be in the 3rd installment of Transformers but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley steps in along with other new cast members, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey and John Malkovich.
