Dashboard Confessional, on Jimmy Kimmel...
Thanks once again to John Lefler for getting us into the Jimmy Kimmel show to see him and the rest of the guys from Dashboard Confessional, perform! I went through huge stress over this show!!! lol So here's the deal...I had gotten tickets through the abc website to see Dashboard Confessional, perform in their outdoor stage on 2/11...i got tickets the first day they were posted and mentioned it to Johnny, he then informed me that his manager had told them the date was moved from 2/11 to 2/12 and instead of an outdoor concert, it was going to be indoors! So i come to find out my original tickets were voided and the indoor tickets were SOLD OUT...so i was left with no tickets!!!!!
I told Johnny about what happened and he was sooo nice and helped me get tickets! He put my name on the list of guests attending and i was able to attend after all! I've been to the show several times before but never like this...we had our own entrance where we got special wristbands, a green room with couches,drinks,food, flat screens,etc... it was pretty awesome!
Upon entering, they walked us backstage into the green room, we sat and relaxed,waiting for the show to start and then all of a sudden i see John, Chris and the rest of the guys come in! I didn't tell John this because i was too shy...but the moment i saw them i got way too excited that i left the room lol then regretted it BUT after the show was over, we did get to talk to all the guys and even took pictures with them...AGAIN! I had a blast and as always, their performance was pure awesomeness!
They are always so nice and sweet that it makes me love them even more! I got to say thank you personally to John again for the tickets and how i couldn't wait to see them at the San Diego and Anaheim show in the next couple of weeks!
