Equal Rights=NOH8.
I had the pleasure of participating in the NOH8 campaign earlier this week and I am SO proud that i became a part of it. It was held at the HollywoodUMC a few days ago and i was so thrilled that over 500 people came out to support the cause!
If you're not aware of this campaign, let me briefly explain it! Adam Bouska who's a photographer, created the NOH8 Campaign to support equal rights among the gay community. Everyone who participates in this campaign, takes part in a small photoshoot with Adam himself to promote the cause.
If you're interested in par-taking, visit their website, www.NOH8campaign.com and search the nearest open shoot in your area, you are advised to wear a plain white t-shirt (tank top, sleevless shirt, etc. as long as it's all white) to match the theme of the shoot upon arrival, you get the NOH8 logo temporarily tattood to your face and duct tape over your mouth.
The idea is that by covering your mouth, you're symbolizing silence, but speaking through expression to the cause. I knew going in there that i wanted to symbolize peace and love combined. I own a ring with the shape of a heart and wanted that to be the main focus in the picture!
Equaling to peace and love.
Please support equal rights and join the campaign!
