Meet, John Lefler...A.K.A. An awesome musician!
Everyone that knows me, knows my obsession with Dashboard Confessional! I've been following them for years and I'm so happy about their huge success with their recent album, Alter the Ending. However I am even more excited and happy that John Lefler (lead guitarist/pianist for DC) has put out his own solo project; Better by Design because he is so talented and I am loving his record!
The album itself has been out for a few months now but it wasn't until DC's acoustic tour this past winter that i got hooked, after John performed "Up My Sleeve" on stage. The music reminds me of a vintage pop/rock genre back when pop songs were more important and were more meaningful...It really touched me and the melodies just captured my heart! It's very rare when you can find music that does that to the soul! Anyway, ever since i am totally addicted to his album and addicted to "Lucy" which is one of my favorites along with others!
If you guys live or will be on the east coast this spring, make sure to catch John on any of his solo shows! He'll be performing in New York City, Dallas and Chicago amongst others! Also make sure you catch him with Dashboard Confessional on tour this spring!

That's yet another thing that makes John Lefler different...he always takes the time to talk to fans and connect with them...never change that John!
